Stuffed Animal Mission When you come to church you will see some friends on the tables in the narthex and Chapel that need a home! Feel free to take one of these animals and keep it for yourself or give it to someone you know who is lonely, ill, or to someone who may just need "a friend." We are doing our best to find stuffed animals that are very clean, cuddly, and in excellent shape . If you have any animals to donate, drop them off in the church office. Animals should be about 12" in height or length....not too small and not too large.
United's Needs List Below is a list of things United is in need of. If you are willing to donate any of these items, drop them off at the church anytime. White Computer Paper (letter or legal size)
Christian Outreach Board Needed-Chairman & board members for the Outreach Committee. As many of you know Anita Holmes had to resign due to illness . This ministry is a much needed part of our church. The objective of this ministry is to bring the Gospel to the unchurched and to deepen the faith through activity of the members of United. If the Lord leads you in this direction please call the office at 875-6591 or see Vicki West.
Welca News This year the Women’s Convention and Fall Retreat will be combined into one. It will take place on September 17,18,and 19 at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp. The theme for the convention is “He leads us to still waters” which leads into the Fall Retreat theme of “The Lord is my Shepherd.” Registration deadline is August 15. Forms are available in church narthex.
